January 29th.

K-4 and K-5 students learned the names for family members while learning a song about making tortillitas!  They love to sing and learn new songs.

Grade 1 and Grade 2 learned vocabulary related to St. Valentine's Day.  The activity involved Valentine's Day cards and learning to and from in Spanish as well as six words related to the holiday.

Grades 3 and 4 received rewards for completing their beautiful clothing books.  They need to read each page of their book at home and bring the book to class on Monday. We are going to present our work to Miss Stone.  The class received a sheet with errors that need to be addressed, but they do NOT need to redo their book.  Some children said they wanted to do so!  Awesome!

Grade 5 is working on a Valentine's Day project and learned terms associated to the holiday in Spanish.

Grade 6  continued to study for their oral exam.  They need to answer the questions  at home using the worksheet and the reference sheet I gave them last week.
