Dear Parents,
K-4 reviewed their dinnerware vocabulary. They may be asking for a fork or spoon in Spanish this Thanksgiving. I hope so! We added a few new terms. We also continued singing a song about what we eat for breakfast and what we drink. Me como cereal, Me como naranja, Me como melon. I eat cereal, I eat oranges, I eat melon. Me tomo leche, Me tomo agua. I drink milk. I drink water. The tune is the song Buenos Dias. We read a story about colors as well as our story about giving thanks. These stories are in Spanish, of course.
K-5 also reviewed dinnerware vocabulary, colors, and learned a new song, Duermese mi nino. It is a lulluby.
lst grade learned weather vocabulary. They loved the lesson!
2nd grade also learned weather terms. They wrote them down ad illustrated with an icon for each weather condition. We discussed number words to 100.
3rd grade learned weather vocabulary and wrote terms down. They also corrected their worksheet on time and numbers to 1,000.
4th grade presented their dialogues. They did a wonderful job with them.
There is no homework over the Thanksgiving holiday.
Have a blessed Thanksgiving.
