Week of November 14th.

K-4 The children used weather expressions in Spanish to talk about the cold weather.  They reviewed numbers and expressions to tell how they are feeling.  The children heard the story, Where the Wild Things Are in Spanish. They loved hearing  about Max and the "monstruos. "

K- 5 The children talked about weather and cold weather clothing in Spanish.  We reviewed numbers and heard the story, Where the Wild Things Are .

Grade 1  We continued talking about how to express time in Spanish.

Grade 2  The children associated activities with different times of the day to the half hour. They expressed what time they get up, what time they eat lunch, and what time they go to bed in Spanish.

Grade 3 The children received a new dialogue about the weather.  I asked them to try to review the dialogue at home during vacation.  It is NOT homework.

Grade 4  The children received a new dialogue and made presentations in class.  Grade 4 is doing very well in Spanish!

Grade 5  Grade 5 did not meet today.  I would like them to review their work from last week, the seven continents and five oceans in Spanish.  I would also like them to review the vocabulary they received last week in class associated with maps and geography.

Grade 6  Students made their presentations based on their autobiographies.  I am very pleased with their work!  I am so happy that most of the students completed the project.  It is part of their next report card and missing assignments will be reflected in the grade your child receives.
